Our team continues its preparation for the third match of the Championship Cyta against Omonia. The head coach Luka Elsner turns back to the match against Alki and looks forward to the next game:

Far from being satisfied

I am of course far from being satisfied of the point we have taken at home in front of our fans who supported us well. But, when you look at the situation we had coming into this game, with the bad result in Achnas and the many late arrivals, we have to take a positive look at the attitude, effort, and the quality shown during the 90 minutes. We showed progress which is always an important argument. We have issues in the fitness level of many of our players, that is why we couldn't give the push in the last 15 minutes and we tried to secure the point at the end.

Game with Omonia

Now, we have to work hard this week to get better on the mistakes we made, get the new players adapt to the system and improve their condition, without creating too much fatigue because we still need to play Omonia, an excellent team and a great challenge for us. Every day that passes and every training session we do gives us the opportunity to improve so we are looking forward to this week.
