Με νίκη μπήκε στο νέο πρωτάθλημα η ομάδα μας, επικρατώντας της ομάδας της Καρμιώτισσας με τελικό σκορ 0-3.
Η Πάφος έκανε ένα καλό πρώτο ημίχρονο, χάνοντας καλές ευκαιρίες κυρίως προς το τέλος του πρώτου μισού. Σε μία από τις τελευταίες τις επιθετικές προσπάθειες ο D.Quina, ο οποίος βρέθηκε μόνος στο ύψος της μεγάλης περιοχής, με δυνατό συρτό σουτ άνοιξε το σκορ στο 45′ κάνοντας το 0-1.
Στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο η Παφιακή ομάδα μπήκε εμφανώς πιο βελτιωμένη και μόλις στο 49′ ο Ken Sema με παράλληλη μπαλιά από την αριστερή μεριά, βρήκε μόνο τον Moumi Ngamaleu, που με κοντινό πλασέ σημείωσε το 0-2. Στο 60′ ο Anderson Silva εκμεταλλεύτηκε λάθος στην άμυνα των γηπεδούχων κάνοντας το τελικό 0-3.
Στα ξεχωριστά της βραδιάς ήταν η χρήση στο τελευταίο δεκάλεπτο τριών νεαρών ποδοσφαιριστών μας, Χρίστος Εύζωνας, Κοσμάς Ιωάννου και Μελίνος Κάης, προερχόμενοι από την Ακαδημία της ΠΑΦΟΣ FC.

Our team kicked off the new season with a victory, defeating Karmiotissa with a final score of 0-3.
Pafos played a strong first half, missing some good scoring opportunities, especially toward the end of the first half. In one of their final attacking efforts, D. Quina, who found himself unmarked at the edge of the box, opened the scoring in the 45th minute with a powerful low shot, making it 0-1.
In the second half, Pafos team came out visibly improved, and just in the 49th minute, Ken Sema sent a cross from the left flank that found Moumi Ngamaleu unmarked; he scored with a close-range shot to make it 0-2. In the 60th minute, Anderson Silva capitalized on a defensive error by the home team to make the final score 0-3.
One of the highlights of the evening was the use of three of our young players—Christos Evzonas, Kosmas Ioannou, and Melinos Kaïs—in the final ten minutes; all three are products of the PAFOS FC Academy.
