(GR) Πάφος, 25 Ιουνίου 2022 – Η ΠΑΦΟΣ FC ανακοινώνει την απόκτηση του διεθνή Βραζιλιάνου ποδοσφαιριστή Márcio Almeida de Oliveira (Marcinho).
Ο Marcinho είναι 26 ετών (16/05/1996) και αγωνίζεται στο δεξί άκρο της άμυνας αλλά μπορεί να αναπτυχθεί και στην δεξιά πτέρυγα της επίθεσης. Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του στα τμήματα υποδομής της Botafogo φτάνοντας μόλις στα 19 του στην Α’ ομάδα του συλλόγου. Με τα χρώματα της Botafogo κατέκτησε το 2018 το Campeonato Carioca. Επόμενος του σταθμός η επίσης Βραζιλιάνικη Athletico Paranaense με την οποία κατέκτησε το Copa Sudamericana.
Είναι μέλος της Εθνικής ομάδας ανδρών της Βραζιλίας και λαμβάνοντας μέρος στις επίσημες προπονήσεις της ομάδας, ενώ είχε κληθεί να αγωνιστεί σε 4 φιλικούς αγώνες της Seleção, όντας ο αντικαταστάτης του Dani Alves, μαζί με αστέρια του παγκοσμίου ποδοσφαίρου όπως οι Neymar Jr, Vinicius Junior, Casemiro, P.Coutinho και άλλους παγκόσμιας φήμης διεθνείς με τη φανέλα της Εθνικής Βραζιλίας.
Είναι η πρώτη φορά στο Κυπριακό ποδόσφαιρο που εν ενεργεία Βραζιλιάνος διεθνής εντάσσεται στο πρωτάθλημα!

(EN) Pafos, June 25, 2022 – PAFOS FC are delighted to announce the agreement with the international Brazilian footballer Márcio Almeida de Oliveira (Marcinho).
Marcinho is just 26 years old (16/05/1996) and he plays as a right back but can also deploy in right wing of the attack. He started his career in the infrastructure teams of Botafogo and at the age of just 19 he became part of the first team of the Club. In 2018 he won the Campeonato Carioca with Botafogo. Next, he moved to also Brazilian Athletico Paranaense winning the Copa Sudamericana.
He is member of the Brazilian Men’s National Team taking part in the official training sessions of the team, having four national call-ups for friendly matches of Seleção, backing up one of the best right backs in the world, Dani Alves, along with world football stars such as Neymar Jr, Vinicius Junior, Casemiro, P. Coutinho and other world-famous Brazilian players!
It is the first time that a current member of the National team of Brasil joins Cyprus Championship, raising further the level and the prestige of the league!
