Η ΠΑΦΟΣ FC νίκησε με ανατροπή και σκορ 2-1 την Ομόνοια 29Μ στην Περιστερώνα, στο πλαίσιο της 8ης αγωνιστικής.
Η Ομόνοια 29M ήταν αυτή που άνοιξε το σκορ μόλις στο 9ο λεπτό με τον Trujic με την ομάδα μας να ισοφαρίζει έντεκα λεπτά αργότερα, στο 20′ με τον αρχηγό, Jairo. Οι παίκτες μας είχαν την κατοχή σε όλο το πρώτο μέρος δημιουργώντας αρκετές προϋποθέσεις για την επίτευξη και δεύτερου γκολ.
Στο β’ ημίχρονο και οι δύο ομάδες προσπάθησαν να κρατήσουν τη μπάλα και να φτιάξουν φάσεις για γκολ. Η Πάφος ήταν πιο αποτελεσματική και στο 67′ σκόραρε με τον Ivan Šunjić. Απείλησε και με τρίτο τέρμα στο 78′ με το δοκάρι του Jairo. Με το τρίποντο αυτό η ομάδα μας παραμένει στην κορυφή.

It was Omonia 29M that scored first as early as the 9th minute with Trujic with the team equalizing eleven minutes later at the 20th minute with captain, Jairo. Our players were in possession throughout the first half creating several chances to score a second goal.
In the second half both teams tried to keep the ball and create chances to score. Pafos players were more effective and scored in 67′ with Ivan Šunjić. They also threatened with a third goal in 78′ with Jairo’s aiming the goal post. With this three-point win our team remains on top of Cyprus League table.
