Η ομάδα της Πάφος FC μπήκε αρκετά δυνατά στο χθεσινοβραδινό αγώνα για τον 3ο προκριματικό γύρο του Europa League, καταφέρνοντας να ανοίξει το σκορ μόλις στο 15’ με τον Lele μετά από όμορφη σέντρα του Bruno. Η Πάφος συνέχισε να πιέζει και με έξυπνη εκτέλεση φάουλ του Biel η μπάλα κατέληξε στο τέρμα του αντίπαλου τερματοφύλακα Zawieschitzky με το 2-0 να είναι και το σκορ του πρώτου ημιχρόνου.
Το δεύτερο μέρος δεν ξεκίνησε τόσο καλά για την ομάδα μας αφού δέχτηκε δύο γρήγορα τέρματα με τους H.Tabakovic στο 54’ και 57’ με πέναλτι. Ο ίδιος παίκτης έκανε το 2-3 στο 70’. Στη συνέχεια η Πάφος απώλεσε μοναδικές ευκαιρίες και κατάφερε να ισοφαρίσει στο 84’ με εκπληκτικό τέρμα του M.Mammadov.

Pafos FC came out strong in last night’s match for the third qualifying round of the Europa League, managing to open the scoring as early as the 15th minute with a goal by Lele following a beautiful cross from Bruno. Pafos continued to press, and thanks to a clever free kick by Biel, the ball found its way into the net past opposing goalkeeper Zawieschitzky, making it 2-0 at halftime.
The second half didn’t start so well for our team, as they conceded two quick goals to H. Tabakovic in the 54th and 57th minutes, the latter on a penalty kick. The same player made it 2–3 in the 70th minute. Pafos then squandered several golden opportunities but managed to equalize in the 84th minute with a stunning goal by M. Mammadov.
